COVID-19 Info
We are currently planning for the upcoming season to occur much like past seasons but know changes will be required and likely evolve over time. We have created this page to serve as a central location for any COVID related items. Below we have included information from a variety of sources as well as links to other organizations containing additional information related to COVID. All information is subject to change and more information will continue to be added as we learn more about how we will operate this hockey season.
Waiver Forms
There are a variety of new waiver forms that are required this season. All forms are required to be submitted in paper form with an original signature and must be provided prior to taking part in any Lakes Area Training activities.
Check-In
Per Minnesota Hockey and Minnesota Department of Health Guidelines, all parents/players must sign in each time they visit an arena or drop off a skater for a practice/game.
IN CASE OF POSSIBLE/CONFIRMED EXPOSURE OR A POSITIVE COVID-19 TEST
Call Lakes Area training at (763) 227-1656 or email info@lakesaretraining.com when a player tests positive, someone in their household tests positive or has been exposed to someone confirmed to have COVID-19.
Lakes Area Training will inform the Minnesota Department of Health per MDH Guidelines. Lakes Area Training will inform the team of possible exposure, withholding the name of the team member.
Per MDH Guidelines, stay home for a minimum of 10 days since symptoms first appeared and until there is no fever for at least three days without medication AND improvement of other symptoms.
Siblings and household members should also stay home for 14 days and follow the MDH Decision Tree on when to return.
